Dana Porter, Principal
After 15 years in business operations and software administration Dana co-founded Up and Running Office Services to provide Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) with the back office, data reconciliation, and reporting services. Prior to the launch of Up and Running Office Services, Dana was a consultant for Schwab Performance Technologies© programmers, helping them refine new software and software upgrades. She also served as Senior Planner/ Director of Operations with a high net-worth wealth management firm, with responsibility for client services, client reporting, and network administration. Dana began her career as a bank MIS/Operations Coordinator for a local savings and loan. Dana earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Golden Gate University and holds a Bachelor degree in Mathematics from the University of Redlands.
Laureen Clinton, Principal
Laureen co-founded Up and Running Office Services In 2004, drawing from her entrepreneurial, financial, and accounting background. Laureen is responsible for bookkeeping consulting services and operations. Prior to launching Up and Running Office Services, Laureen worked for more than 10 years as Controller and Portfolio Administrator for high net-worth wealth management firm, serving as bookkeeper, office manager, and trader. Laureen has over 35 years of experience in bookkeeping, and has owned and operated several small businesses.
Deena Abraham, Client Services
Deena joined Up and Running Officer Services in 2011 and provides clients with accounting services as well as daily reconciliation and posting for client databases. Deena has more than five years of experience in the banking industry and was managing small businesses before joining Up and Running Office Services. Deena also has experience as CFO for a general contracting firm, and head of Human Resources. She brings more than 25 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping and office management to the team.
